Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the United States for more than forty years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. The singer also released her debut album, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge success, and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. Louise joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway as a somber character in order to dispel her image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has gained recognition as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 27th August, 1965. Her family moved to Toronto around the age of three. She spent her childhood there and her adolescence. She settled in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
