Coleman was born and raised in the town of the Lancashire town of Blackpool. She attended Arnold School Blackpool, where she was able to get straight As in the A-levels she took. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman has replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor following Arthur Darvill left the series and was to play the role alongside Matt Smith. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman to play the role of companion due to her ability to be the best companion for Smith. In addition, Moffat noted that she was more talkative than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been in the industry for over 30 years and is involved in a variety of TV and film projects. She has however been more well-known on television than in films. Eva's TV roles on Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami stand out. The part of Doctor. Maria Santos from All My Children garnered its 2 Daytime Emmy nominations. This gave her an opportunity to display her talent in music. Apart from being an actor Eva is a philanthropist and an entrepreneur. Eva has three husbands and an infant from the third.
