Katie Lowes

Katie Lowes who became famous as the narrator of the ABC show "Scandal," began her professional career through a passion for the stage. Lowes grew up in Queens and was an confident young lady who enjoyed the stage for both family as well as her friends. Lowes like other kids who are awed by entertaining others did not let her love for acting fade when she grew up. Lowes continued to be focused and determined about her craft, eventually enrolling in the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University. In 2002, she proved her abilities in the role in "Four Saints of Mexico" the Tisch production. Later, she would graduate to enter the profession. Lowes was able to land some noteworthy roles including a role in"Rescue Me," the pilot series "Rescue me" (FX from 2004 to 2011), but for the majority of the time, Lowes paid the bills during her early years working as a babysitter for the daughter of actor Connie Britton. In the end she was able to land the part in the role of Quinn Perkins on Shonda Rhimes' political thriller "Scandal" (ABC 2012- ) and was a character she instantly felt a connection with since her real name in life is Quinn. Lowes became a household name and face thanks to "Scandal" (ABC 2012). The actress met Adam Shapiro on the show whom she later married. Katie Katie Katie
